Characteristics of Perspiration Finishing Agent
- Enhance fabrics good moisture absorption, quick drying.
- Impart fleece and fleece fabrics a fuller feel.
- Give fabric softness and lubricity, reduce fabric scratches, creases, chicken paw prints.
Basic Properties:
- Composition: high-molecular polymer.
- Appearance: light yellow to yellow solid.
- Ionic type: Non-ionic.
- Solubility: Diluted with hot water at 90°C
Dilution method
water ⇒ stirring 80r/min ⇒ heating to 80 – 90°C slowly put S-100 ⇒ swelling ⇒ 75-80°C heat preservation mixing ⇒ cooling to 40°C ⇒ filter and release the material
Note: In the swelling process, there will be stratification phenomenon (S-100 floating in the upper layer, water in the lower layer), which is a normal phenomenon. After swelling, stirring and cooling will be uniform to below 65°C.
Application Process of Finishing Agent
Finishing agent application process is recommended to dilute S-100 to 10% solid content and use it according to the following process.
a. Dipping process: S-100 (10%) dosage is 1.0% to 4.0% (o.w.f) (room temperature – 50°C) impregnation (30 – 60min) ⇒ dehydration ⇒ drying (100-130°C) ⇒ shaping (160 – 190°C)
b. Padding process: The dosage of S-100 (10%) is 10 – 50g/L Dip rolling (residual rate 65-75%) ⇒ drying (100 – 130°C) ⇒ shaping (160 – 190°C)
c. Store: shelf life is 6 months (sealed in a cool, dry and ventilated place, keep the storage temperature ≤ 25°C and storage humidity ≤ 50%)
d. Packaging: It can be packed 25 kg/bag.
e. Transportation: It can serve as a general chemical.
